5 New Habits For 2019

Do you believe that? We do. Whether you started the year out the way you wanted or quit your goals January 2nd. You can start today. We are here to cheer you on in business and personal goals.

It’s better to create new habits than break old ones. We are sharing 5 new habits we are hoping to hone during the year.

Get More Sleep – We put this one first on purpose. In the world of entrepreneurs working 60-80 hours a week. GET SLEEP. The Sleep Association reports, “Adults need 7-9 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period”. As well as, “35.3% adults report <7 hours of sleep during a typical 24-hour period.” You need sleep to function long-term as the best version of yourself.

Less Social Media – Don’t worry we are still active on social media. We love connecting with you on social media platforms. However, we are creating boundaries to escape from the mindless scrolling.

No more mindless scrolling.

Overall Wellness  – What you eat and exercise affects your mood, attitude, and overall health. We know this from personal experience. How we treat our bodies changes how well we can do our jobs. We are passionate about our job, and we want to take care of our bodies to the best of our ability. Don’t worry, we still eat donuts!!! 

Forever Learner – We hope to always put this on our new year list. We both created reading lists to keep ourselves motivated and on track. Lou Holtz said. “In this world you’re either growing or you’re dying, so get in motion and grow.”

Networking – We are looking to network with fellow creatives and business owners in the industry. If you are looking to connect – contact us. We would love to get to know you and help each other grow.

    Love these suggestions! I’m working on getting more sleep and putting down my phone at night!

    It really is amazing how being intentional about your habits can not jbky make you happier, but also more productive! A great way to start achieving more of your goals. Love it 🙂

    I DEFINITELY need to get more sleep! I’ve been sick and rundown lately, so I’ve made getting more sleep one of my top goals this year!
